Very tough
I have to give this 5 stars because I have a small pittie mix who is a DESTROYER. It took him a whole month to get the back half opened up and at that point I cut
I have to give this 5 stars because I have a small pittie mix who is a DESTROYER. It took him a whole month to get the back half opened up and at that point I cut it the super thick tough inner plastic off the rest of the way and he still loves and plays with the front half, and it seems indestructible for him. (I have only found one other brand that takes him as long so I give 5 stars and buying more versions of this toy.

They actually lasted for awhile before they ripped the ribbing off around the edges and pulled the squeaker out, but since it doesn't have stuffing there was very little mess to clean up.

Tough!
Although my dog wore the squeakers out quickly, this toy is tough as advertised. He can usually tear up and gut the stuffing out of "tough" toys within an hour
Although my dog wore the squeakers out quickly, this toy is tough as advertised. He can usually tear up and gut the stuffing out of "tough" toys within an hour. The tough skinz watermelon has remained intact for three weeks so far. My dog loves to play fetch with this slice of joy!
Fun but issues
My 6 yo pup had fun with it but the inside is lined with a plastic material. She is a shredder so there were small pieces everywhere before I noticed. May be OK

Disappointed
This toy is very hard. I couldn’t even bend it in half. She immediately started chewing the corners off. She does not chew all her soft toys.

Excellent toy for an aggressive chewer
We love this toy and so does our dog! He is very destructive with his toys even though he loves soft toys over any other type. He is watched carefully while playing
We love this toy and so does our dog! He is very destructive with his toys even though he loves soft toys over any other type. He is watched carefully while playing and still manages to destroy his toys within days usually. This toy has held up great and we've had it for quite a while now. I highly recommend this toy for aggressive chewers, as long as they are always carefully supervised, of course.
