Is this safe for nursing dogs? My dog recently had puppies and has been extremely stressed and has been barking whenever anything moves.

This product has not been tested for use in lactating females. Please contact your veterinarian for additional information.

Can this affect the color of your dog's urine? it was fine/normal prior to me giving it to her.

The Calming/Composure products contain Thiamine (Vitamin B1) which can change the color of urine. This is completely normal and characteristic of B Vitamins which are water soluble and excreted through the urine.

How long do these lasts? As in, if I wanted continuous support, would it be safe to give 1 chew every 8 hours for a 40 lb dog?

Calming begins to take effect in as little as 20 minutes after ingesting and lasts for 4-6 hours for an all-day result. During times of increased stress, it is safe to double or triple the dosage amount, as needed. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

If anything she seemed a bit MORE ecstatic and all over the place. I will say that I switched to another brand and can see a small difference so these may not have been strong enough. I also doubled her dosage of these natural ones with no change either. I would recommend these for smaller dogs or a breed that is known to be less active than a husky. She did enjoy the treats so there’s that! #ChewyTeamRated
