These bags do the job! At least as thick- and secure-feeling as others I've used, and the size is plenty big in my opinion. From what I tried to research, these are truly, completely biodegradable. Some are just "compostable" - yet local compost facilities will not accept them with dog poo in them, and not just "made with cornstarch ... biobased ... yet 38% plastic" as others claim, trying to sound like they're doing their part. (Those still have microplastics &/or ...). Okay. Alas, taking care of our planet is not always the cheapest route to go. lol. There's my review.

The second time, though, the bags were different. So much more likely to rip. My husband double bags on the regular now and complains the whole time lol. I can't see ordering these a third time. Sorry to say goodbye DooBetter.

They have ripped completely down the sides or while I'm picking up the poo and have gotten poo on my hands more than once. Really disappointing.

Big & Thick Bags

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these! I chose the 120 pack of unscented bags with no handles. The box I received was bigger and heavier than I expected it would be -- containing 8 rolls of bags. The "DooBetter Bags" are twice as BIG and twice as THICK as average poop pick-up bags (see pictures). And, I love their soft, smooth texture. They come off the roll easily and don't stick together like other bags. So, they are EASY and FUN to use! My 13-year old Corgi likes to make several poops on long walks. So, when I use typical poop pick-up bags, my hands often get dirty because I open and fill the same bag several times. Because of this, I have resorted to using plastic grocery bags on our walks. But, thanks to "DooBetter Bags," I now have a poop pick-up bag that is big enough and strong enough for my dog's needs. Hooray! I highly recommend that you try "DooBetter Bags." You will be glad that you did.

I really appreciate that they’re a bit wider and noticeably longer than other bags, which makes tying them up so much easier—especially with a large dog. Even dad, who has big hands, finds them easy to use and loves the size, whether we’re using them for our large dog or the tiny one. Absolutely recommend these!

No rips in the sides. Planned on using it originally on a walk with the pups but didn’t need it. Ended up using it to clean out the cat litter box in a pinch before company arrived. Worked great! Strong bags that seal in odor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought these words would come out of my mouth, but I love these poop bags! The size and thickness help make it so much less gross to pick after my boy. The actual pickup is never fun for anyone, but the task of tying the bag up is especially gross when you don’t have much extra bag to use. Tying a knot in a small length of plastic often takes multiple attempts. Yuck. The extra size of these bags made it much easier; I was actually able to tie the bag on the first try. I have a Border Collie, but I think these bags are large enough to accommodate larger dogs’ needs, yet still leave enough space to easily tie the bag. I’ve added a photo of a standard poop bag laid on top of a Doo-Better bag for reference. I also really love that these bags are not made of plastic. The thickness and texture of these feel comparable to typical plastic poop bags I’ve used, which was pleasantly surprising. No plastic waste AND good quality! The slightly matte texture makes them easier to open, which is especially important when you’re trying to manage a leash with one hand and open a bag with the other. The other thing I like about these bags doesn’t have anything to do with function, but I like that the color isn’t black. I don’t feel like I’m walking around with a neon sign that screams, “I have a bag of poop in my hand!” The black trash bag of poop is like the cone of shame to me. These kind of look like regular plastic shopping bags, so they’re much less conspicuous to carry. And kudos to the company for using real talk and for making the product info funny!

While some might find this a good thing, I personally would want it stronger. The box comes with plenty of rolls that fit in all standard dispensers. I personally would not order them again as they are thinner than I prefer (in the photo you can see my hand through it).
