How long can a dog take these supplements for? Are they designed to be safe for long-term use?

Answer by JannineF.Aug 21, 2025
This supplement are suitable to be used for 30, 45, and 90 days. This supplement is safe for long-term use.

I’m taking my dog to float the river with us for vacation and he usually isn’t a huge fan of the water. I’m looking for something that will relax him but non drowsy so he can still be his playful self. Would this work for my pet?

This supplement is a non-drowsy formula that helps your pet feel relaxed during anxious times.

I have a 8 pound lil Lhasa Apso mix, and she gets bad anxiety in cars and when I leave the house, will this supplement be ok for someone as small as her?

It's recommended to give supplement on a daily basis. Dog's up to 25-pounds are given 1 soft chew per day, dog's weighing 26-75 pounds get 2 soft chews per day and dog's weighing over 75 pounds get 3 soft chews per day.

Natural blend

Not a powerful or potent supplement, but helpful for situations that cause anxiety without making my aussie completely incapacitated. Nice supplement!

They do not work.

At least they do not work on my dog. And, she doesn't like them. I have to camouflage them in food.

I’m so glad these are back on Chewy!! I’ve been giving these to my dog for years, and I really believe they help with his anxiety and really levels him out. He loves the taste and will huff and puff at me until he gets his morning “treat”. Definitely recommend these, I like all the ingredients in these too, not just the calming ingredients, but meats and veggies too? Sign me up for life.

Our Boston Terriers are terrified of fireworks and thunderstorms. We gave each pup these supplements with their dinner, and overall, this was the most enjoyable 4th of July yet! While they still were afraid of the loud pops from neighborhood fireworks, they didn't tremble and shake and try to hide like they usually do. We were actually able to watch TV with our pups relaxing on the couch between us. We used the thunder shirt on our younger dog which helped as well. I was very skeptical, but this works! And, there was no grogginess like there is when we have had to use a sedative in the past.

I've tried several calming medications, including some recommended by my Vet. Honestly, though my dog loves the taste of these, I didn't see any improvement in her

Wouldn’t touch!!

My puppy wouldn’t touch these! I tried even breaking them up into her food and she ate around them. I am so sad because they are expensive and will just go to waste

My dog has a strong startle reflex when it comes to fireworks, especially cherry bombs. She cowers in the corner or under my chair long after the noise has subsided. This product has helped reduce her flight response for explosions that are in the distance, but she is still triggered by noises in close proximity. It hasn't calmed her to the point that she doesn't feel the urge to flee, but the intensity of her fright has lessened and she tends to recover faster.
