Feeding Instructions
Shake well. May be fed directly or poured over food. Clean, free-choice water should be available at all times. Store in a cool dry place.
Weaned puppies: 1/4 teaspoon per lb of body weight once daily.
Adult dogs: Feed amount twice daily.

I like having these high calorie gels when my pup is going through some sort of recuperation. Whether he's not eating enough or just having a stressful situation that may be affecting his health. These boost his caloric intake (which often goes down for him when stressed or dealing with health concerns) and help get some vitamins, minerals, and typically electrolytes in him. This one has a vanilla flavor. It smells very sweet. My dog will eat it, but he seems to tire of it pretty quickly. He seems to enjoy the high calorie gels that have malt or other flavors to them. This one seems more affordable than the others, though. If you think your critter friend needs something like this and responds to sweeter flavors, this might be the one for you.

Such a weird choice for a dog supplement. And especially off-putting when paired with the product's appearance. I suggest peanut butter or chicken flavor. Even with the weird smell it's going into our rotation. The dog likes it and it works.
