About This Item

Details

  • This hairball remedy uses natural ingredients instead of petrolatum to help cats pass hairballs easily.
  • Made with vegetable oil and glycerin for lubrication and psyllium husk for motility through the digestive system.
  • Can be given to cats over 6 months of age.
  • Easy-to-use gel formula tastes like chicken, so most cats will eat it voluntarily. If not, you can put a little on top of a paw so they’ll lick it off!
  • Made in the USA.

This is the only hairball supplement that my cats will take willingly. They don't like the texture of hairball gels, but this one is more like a creamy treat. If they do fuss, I just sprinkle a bit of Calming Care or Fortiflora over it (on a spoon or a saucer), and they'll eat it without issue. It does seem to help, and I like that it doesn't contain petrolatum. The product will start to separate over time, so just be aware of that.

This Hairball Gel works. My cat is an overgroomer, with constant hairballs and puking. I give her this 2x a week, and no more puking. She acts like I'm trying to kill her because she won't lick the stuff unless I put a gob on her leg to clean off. My other cat loves it and takes it off my finger. Reasonably priced, great product, and no petrolatum.

Weird texture

It was very runny and gritty. Not sure if it was a bad batch or how it’s supposed to be. Kitties didn’t like it. Threw it out.

Oh dear, if my cat could give it less than one star she would. She licked it barely and briskly walked away. This has a gritty texture. I'll have this to the shelter

Helps with hairballs & he loves it!

Petey doesn't shed his undercoat, I've tried everything. He'd stop eating as hairballs built up, but this has helped a lot. Fecal diameter is bigger & he's eating
