Not Exactly as Described

I purchased the small size for my cat, purposely choosing this specific carrier as it stated and showed in the pictures that the small size had clips to secure the

I purchased the small size for my cat, purposely choosing this specific carrier as it stated and showed in the pictures that the small size had clips to secure the top and bottoms half of the cage, as I didn’t want to have to deal with unscrewing all of the screws everytime I need to open the top. It showed up today and it has holes and screws, not latches. Otherwise the crate is great quality, but I turned down a slightly cheaper option of the same size in favour of the clips over screws and ended up with the screws anyways

Damaged item

Unfortunately, as soon as my husband and I opened the box we noticed all of the packing material just sitting inside the dog crate itself -instead of packed around

Unfortunately, as soon as my husband and I opened the box we noticed all of the packing material just sitting inside the dog crate itself -instead of packed around on the outside of the crate to actually protect it.. While looking it over we were not surprised that the crate was indeed damaged- ugh.. Anyway, I’m not one for returning things so I just fixed it, and I am prepared to live with it.. sigh.. This is the first time I thought I would give “Chewy Canada” a try.. The damage aside- it is exactly what I was expecting and looking for.

I have a dog that has some separation anxiety. The traditional foldable wire crates did not work. When we purchased this crate, he immediately liked it. He chooses to go into it and the solid walls make him feel safe and secure. This is the only crate he hasn’t broken out of, that I feel at peace leaving him in, and it is the only one he seems to like. If you are on the fence and have a dog you struggles with separation anxiety, get this crate, it was one of the best purchases we made for our sweet dog.
