Can't get treats out.
My dog couldn't get the treats out, so can't use. Kind of expensive for that.

Challenging
My fur baby plays with this here and there. She cannot get the treats out. I am hesitant to cut it. She periodically trys and trys but the treats stay in there.

Weirdest best toy

I bought one of these for one of our dogs and she went crazy for it. Flipping it around the house for hours. I wasn’t expecting the other dog who has never played with toys in the year and a half that we’ve had him to go crazy for it too. Anytime she wasn’t playing with it , he’d get up and chew it and toss it around. So we ordered a second one for him. Now there’s two wonky looking barnacles flipping around my home and two happy doggos
This was a hit

We use feeder toys for dinner. They get a snuffle mat and two toys. Sometimes they get just toys. We used these for the first time tonight. They hold more than a cup which is great. The three compartments were nice since it makes it more challenging. I didn’t do much trimming on the rubber fingers. They were able to get everything out of the two larger compartments but they needed help with the smaller compartment. They had not given up but they were still going at it when we were done eating so I helped. I want them to feel successful and not frustrated. I will trim those a bit more or put less kibble in the small parts. On a side note we bought two of these just in case the review makes it sound like I have one feeder toy to two dogs.
Smells oddly
I’m trying to get this to smell like something my dog would chew on as he so far refuses to touch it. I tried putting treats in it but he would just sniff at it
I’m trying to get this to smell like something my dog would chew on as he so far refuses to touch it. I tried putting treats in it but he would just sniff at it and walk away. I even tried putting a treat halfway in and held it out to him and he carefully pulled the treat out without touching the chew toy. It seems to be sturdy and I hope once it airs out better it will be a good toy for him.
This stinks!

This toy stinks; it actually stinks. As soon as I cut the tape on the Chewy box I could smell it, that plasticy smell. I've washed it 4 or 5 times in various dish and hand soaps. I've left it out on the counter, to air out, since I got it months ago. I still can't bring myself to give it to my dog. It's too bad because I think it would have been helpful to ease my dog's separation anxiety. She's a chewer and loves toys that she has to work at.
Not what I expected

I bought this along with other Genius Kong pieces to use them as an interconnected pieces to create different brain games for our two 55 lb pups. The other pieces were awful, this one held up the best by far. Not sure it’s the most engaging on its own but at least it’s still usable.
Good with and without treats
We have had this chew toy for months. It is harder for our dog to get treats out of it compared to a KONG toy or a different toy that you roll and kibble pieces
We have had this chew toy for months. It is harder for our dog to get treats out of it compared to a KONG toy or a different toy that you roll and kibble pieces fall out. Keeps him entertained for a long period of time. He will also dig it out of his toy box to chew on even without treats inside.
The smell!
This is the second Petsafe toy I’ve purchased in the past year, and it will be the last! The extremely strong odor permeates the house. I put it outside to air
This is the second Petsafe toy I’ve purchased in the past year, and it will be the last! The extremely strong odor permeates the house. I put it outside to air but a day later, it still stinks. I contacted Petsafe to see what causes the smell but they were unable to tell me. I’m throwing it away, both because of the smell and my concern that it could be harmful to my dog.
Good and tough. But impossible
I needed a puzzle snack toy for my heavy chewer. This was certainly tough enough tho bigger than I expected. That didn’t seem to bother Buddy tho. The problem
I needed a puzzle snack toy for my heavy chewer. This was certainly tough enough tho bigger than I expected. That didn’t seem to bother Buddy tho. The problem was getting any kind of treat out of any of the barnacles. It was impossible. I even tried and couldn’t get them out. I tried cutting off some of the “teeth” a little to see if that worked. It didn’t. I was really disappointed and so was Buddy. He tried and tried and finally brought it me and dropped it at My feet and gave up. .
