Will this replace a Johnson L-2 flap?

This flap is compatible with PetSafe Classic Pet Doors and old style PetSafe Wall Entry Aluminum Pet Doors.

My Petsafe door says to order dog door flap #PAC11 11039-which size it that? Thank you!

The #PAC11 11039 replacement flap is the size large.

I have a petsafe large doggy door, but it does not have screws at the top or the 1 screw in the middle up top. Not sure how to get the flapper out.

To replace the flap, the door must be removed from the installed surface and the screw (either on the right or left side of the top of the frame) must also be removed. The old flap can now slide out and the new one will slide in.

Does the new flap come with the plastic strip across the top that acts as a nut for the attaching screws?

The classic replacement flap does not come with the plastic mounting bracket or screws. This type of flap has a row of rubber pegs at the top. The top of the flap slides into a groove inside the upper part of the pet door frame. This does not require a mounting bracket or any screws. The Freedom® replacement flaps, which have a row of holes at the top, and are installed using a plastic mounting bracket and screws. These flaps do not include the mounting bracket or screws, so the mounting hardware would need to be purchased separately.

Chewy was the only retailer that had the exact model we needed for our 20 year old pet door. We had replaced the flap once and recently realized we needed to do it again. Thanks Chewy for having the older PetSafe Classic Pet Door Flap so now the flap closes properly like it should!
