I have been looking for stairs for my 13-year-old, 22-pound terrier mix who is now having trouble getting on and off our high (30”) bed. One set was far too large for our apartment, plus, Billy wouldn't go near them. The big foamy stairs aren’t an option for our home or for Billy (he doesn’t like squishy things). This set is the perfect size and height, and very little set up is required. We followed the training advice on the Chewy site, and it only took one lesson! He is now going up and down like a pro, all by himself. And when we aren’t using them, they fold up and slip right under the bed. Take my advice: stop doing your own research (like I did for weeks) and just get these stairs. Great price, two sizes, and two colors.

On the bottom of each foot, there is a clear non-stick disk. I moved the steps once, a total of two feet from where they were originally positioned. Two of the disks came off. Even assuming that I dragged the steps two feet, the disks should not have come off. Worse yet, the disks are clear. We happened to find one of them, but can't find the other. The missing disk is a choking hazard for our dog, and would be even more dangerous for a young child..

We've had these stairs several weeks now and have only been able to get our golden retriever to go up them 3 times. He is 80 pounds, well under the 150-200lb max, but the stairs wobble a bit (not surprising with plastic). I do like that I can turn the stairs sideways against the cargo area of our SUV -- so there is only one "open" side of the stairs and I can stand there (I think the open sides make Murphy nervous). Very easy to transport and set up the stairs, not so easy to collapse -- the little plastic hooks are hard to push and I don't want to force them and break the plastic. A ramp would not work for our needs, as it would have to be very long or very steep, and would have two open sides. So we'll keep working with these stairs.

The stairs unfolded, adhered the carpet treads and button feet and it was done! My little guy had no problem understanding its use and seems to enjoy that he can get on or off the bed whenever he wants. Note: The adhesive on the treads and the button feet is insufficient and they fall off easily so if you get this item, you’ll need to re-glue them.

I purchased this for my therapy dog, Honey, who spends one day a week hanging out in my sixth-grade classroom. Honey, who weighs about 55 lbs., likes to relax on a countertop and observe class when she’s not actively working. The countertop is about three feet off the ground, and I was worried about her joints when she jumped off, so I purchased this set of steps to keep her safe. They’re sturdy but relatively lightweight and fold easily so we can store them out of the way on her days off. The easy-to-install carpet treads give her traction for climbing up and down. She used her steps for the first time Friday, easily climbing up with a backpack full of nonperishables and lying still on her little rug on the counter while the kids unloaded her donations for a food drive.

They are pretty sturdy. I'm hoping I can get my girls used to them but not really they are scared to even try right now.

I liked that it came assembled and that the latches have a button to help release them when folding it back up. I use it for my senior dog who is no longer able to jump. Being a senior myself, I appreciate it being lightweight. I can easily lift in and out of my SUV, where I keep it to help my dog in and out. I would have given it 5 stars if the carpet treads would actually stick and stay on the stairs. I’m going to have to put some glue on them.
