The Cat feeder timing works well. I have set the 1st cat feeding time to 5:30am so my bed buddy cat does not start kneeding my chest while I am asleep & being in my face to check that I am still alive/breathing. She does find the bowl a little too deep for eating vigorously so she sometime paws at the food to get at it. Generally a success to avoid aggressive wake-up attention seeking actions by my cat to get fed breakfast at an early hour.
Stopped rotating
It stopped rotating about a month after purchase. Cannot get it to work anymore. Very disappointing for the cost

Not what I was expecting
I thought I was ordering an auto feeder that would allow me to chill my cat's wet food so it didn't go bad in the feeder; if this feeder does have that capability
I thought I was ordering an auto feeder that would allow me to chill my cat's wet food so it didn't go bad in the feeder; if this feeder does have that capability it only allows room for an ice pack on the feeder bowl that's open which is useless as the food is stored in the closed portion. I want to return it, it is useless to me.

The food keeps fine, and allows the cats to eat early and us to sleep in. We are impressed at the quality these feeders had 10 years ago, hopefully that is still true! Would purchase again if needed. : )
Broke first day
Cheap plastic and the flimsy latch broke on the first day. Didn’t do anything so risky just opened it to fill it with food. Avoid.

Works great the way we use it
We have to sequester Bongo in a spacious basement room overnight since he howls at 3 a.m. He has a window with a cat tower and a comfy K&H heated bed (from Chewy)
We have to sequester Bongo in a spacious basement room overnight since he howls at 3 a.m. He has a window with a cat tower and a comfy K&H heated bed (from Chewy). We lure him in at 11 pm, putting a small portion of Calm dry food in the open compartment. We open up the cover and add a feeding into the next compartment which opens at 3 a.m. Keeps him quiet until 8.

We bought this cat feeder (5 meal) for our 9 month old kitty as he liked to wake us at the crack of dawn and then ate too quickly. It was set to feed him at regular intervals every day, and it held up for his entire life -18 years! It of course got a bit dinged up and scratched at, but the tray, clock, and spin mechanism are still going strong.

Our kitty does better eating a little at a time, and this helps him to continue with that schedule at night. This helps since he has stomach issues.
