Replacement sensor keys can be found on through the manufacturer's website.

Will this let my dogs in and out but keep the cat in? How long of a delay does it have after a dog goes thru it until it locks back in place?

This pet door cannot be programmed to unlock for only certain pets. It is designed to allow only pets wearing the key back inside. PetSafe does not have an exact time in seconds for how quickly the door will lock once your pet's key is out of range of the door. It is normal for this process to take several seconds.

Can I get a replacement for the swinging door?

No, I’ve already had to replace 2 doors in 3 years because you can’t just get a new flap

This doggy door is very pricy and with our two German shepherd’s it breaks in the same spot every time. We have to replace this doggy door every few months and for the price we pay I would think it would last longer if it is meant for large dogs.

We bought ours in April last year. It worked fantastically, letting our big dogs in and out but not allowing our clever cat from getting out (she pulls at the door and slides out instead of pushing). But during a particularly harsh cold snap in January, the door stopped working. The unlocking/locking mechanism went from sounding robust and confident to feeble and timid like it got consumption. I waited to get it fixed until we were clear of cold weather to see if it would come back. But it didn't Thankfully 2 weeks after the 1-year warranty, I reached out to PetSafe and they generously replaced it. I'm not sure if the failure was due to the cold weather or if that was just a coincidence. I can see batteries failing faster in cold weather, but not a motor. I will add that the insulation on the door is really not sufficient for brutal cold weather like we have in the upper Midwest. I will be looking at ways to better insluate the new one.

It is a very nice modern looking dog door.

My dogs are a bit scared of the noise the door makes when it unlocks. I hope they get used to it.

My dogs have used doggie doors for years. However, December, while recovering at a facility from surgery, some came in stole some items. They were able to access the interior through the large doggie door. I am confident this will stop the thief.

This door is advertised for up to a 100lb dog. I wish they had more detailed descriptions. My Doberman will barely fit through it and it scares her to try because her body scrapes her body and top line. I'm sure it is a perfectly fine door, but I wish they had a larger size for big dogs.

I have had two of the large doors in the past three years. Each broke at the same place (upper left corner) after about eighteen months (warranty is 12 months). Like others, we do not lock and unlock, but leave open for our three labs to go in and out. It seems obvious the plastic hinge design for the larger doors is inadequate for repeated use.
