The flap is made of vinyl and can be opened by most pets.

The flap can be replaced. To remove the flap, simply unscrew the screws at the top of the vinyl flap. This releases the mounting bar and the vinyl flap.

can this door be installed horizontally?

The left side of the flap still seals up. Now that it is getting cold, I have to replace the flap so the garage stays warm.
