Are the collars compatible with PetSafe wireless systems?

Any of PetSafe® in-ground fence collars are compatible with this fence (except for the YardMax® collars).

I have a fenced yard that keeps my cat in but Im missing the concrete driveway gate whete she escapes. So 40" but how would I use the wire?

First question I have is, is this a shock collar or does it only use a high pitch tone to scare the cat away 2nd can this collar be linked to our dogs system he has the wireless fence as well

The collar offers a static stimulation and tone for training and the In-ground containment collars are not compatible with the Wireless containment systems.

It works and it doesn't work. Multiple areas decide when it wants to work. It works when you approach the border sometimes, and sometimes, it just let's you or your animal cross without the sound even going off. It's inconsistent and I unfortunately already invested this much into it, so I might as well buy another fence and double up the border so it might actually be a reliable product.

We have a catio for our cats but when I'm working in the yard, I like them to be out with me exploring the backyard and not worrying about them jumping the fence. One of my cats is so smart, he went under the fence that doesn't have the invisible fence, so we had to make some adjustments. The white flags to use where the wires are really help to remind them not to go near them.
