The Petsafe NanoBark Collar by PetSafe Rechargeable Dog Bark Collar was not designed to curb unwanted whining. This product is best suited to deter barking.

NanoBark is designed specifically for little dogs with neck sizes 6-13 inches only. In order to create such a small unit, some of the technology runs through the rubber part of the strap, which means the unit measures 4.2 inches long x 1 inch wide x less than ¾ inch thick (depth), so it does not stick out under the chin.

The NanoBark collar packaging includes short contact points pre-installed on the collar and long points (3/8”), the test light tool, USB magnetic charger, and a quick start guide. With long haired dogs, this can work, but they will need the collar snug so that they can only fit a finger under the strap while the dog is standing up. Just separate the fur around the contact points when placing on the pet.

The Sport Dog is big so I wanted to try a smaller version. Sport Dog uses sound first, then gentle correction. Guess the little guy will go back to the big bulky one. Disappointing.

I love shopping on chewy so I want to assume that I just received a defective one because the instructions said the while its charging the light will be green and go off when its fully charged and should take about 2hrs well 1 I believe the collar or the charger piece has a shortage or something because it has to be positioned a certain before the light even comes on 2 Now that the light is on I press and old the power button and it doesnt come on and it been charging for over 2hrs well once I positioned it for the light to remain green very disappointing.

I do not recommend this collar at all. I purchased two for our small dogs who bark at things happening through the window. I tried it three times, and all three times one or both dogs were shocked when they weren't barking. It was terrible. It also shocked my son when he picked one of the collars up off the counter and he said it sent electricity up his arm. We tried to repeat the situation to figure out why it shocked him but couldn't. I think the collars are just faulty. I feel so badly for putting them on my dogs. One of them jumped, all four paws off the floor, when it shocked her randomly as she was walking. It was terrible.
