How do you keep the wind from blowing through the glass sliding doors once pet door is installed?

This pet door comes with a weather strip that should be installed on the back edge of the sliding glass door to form a seal between the sliding glass door and the stationary glass door. This will prevent wind from coming through.

Is this insert aluminum? If so, do you carry a vinyl insert?

The insert is made of aluminum. This ensures durability and resistance to wear, making it a sturdy option for pet owners. At this time, PetSafe does not offer an alternate material option.

Good item, but not for me

I really liked the idea of it, but I couldn't manage the narrow space left for humans to get in and out of the door.

The two glass pieces aren’t snug, there’s a gap. In other review photos I don’t see that so maybe I got a faulty door. The dog door closes good and seems good quality other than the problems I have.
