how do i test the collar to see if it still works

To test the collar, first plug the bark control collar into the charger. While the charger is plugged in, press and hold the on/off button. Continue to hold the on/off button while unplugging the bark collar from the charger. A blue LED will appear and the red and green LED’s will turn off. Release the on/off button. After a 2 second delay, the following will begin: The bark collar will tone (beep) 15 times: once for each level of correction. Then it will sound the normal power off tone and turn itself off. The test can be stopped at any time by pressing the on/off button.

Please see attached image of charging port location. Lift the cover protecting the charging port and connect the charger. Be sure that the charging plug is fully inserted into the charging port, and is inserted in the correct direction.

Can a replacement charge cord be ordered?

Replacement parts are available directly through the manufacturer.

My dog likes to “talk” with grumbles and focalization that are not at bark level. Will this collar respond to this type of behavior? I don’t want her to loose her personality.

This collar may go off when your dog vocalizes, as the vibrations in their throat may trigger the sensitive nature of the device.

Works well

I have used a bark collar from same company before but it was a battery operated one about 15 years ago... I wondered if this one was working as my dog was seeming

I have used a bark collar from same company before but it was a battery operated one about 15 years ago... I wondered if this one was working as my dog was seeming to bark through it... After speaking with a rep from company she explained the dog needs to get used to it's training method and she did.. After a week she has almost stopped barking and for a German shepherd, that's a testament to both her intelligence and it's training ability. Deliver was quick from Chewy and I will order from you again! Thank you!
