Will this system work if you live in a home with metal wall and a metal roof?

With Petsafe wireless systems, Petsafe does not recommend using them with metal roofs or next to metal walls.

Do you sell a wireless containment system for cats? All the descriptions only mention dogs, and weights of 5 lbs.or more.

the FAQ says Can I use the containment system on a cat? Yes, the system can be used as long as the cat can comfortably wear the receiver collar. We also offer a special in-ground receiver collar just for cats (not compatible with wireless systems).

Can this specific product be used on young cats too or just dogs?

This containment system is safe for use on cats. It is not recommended to use on pets younger than 6 months old.

If a neighbor has the same system but are over 90 feet away will it allow their dog or my dog to make contact with each other?

All PetSafe Wireless Fences use the same signal, so if your boundaries overlap, your and your neighbor's dogs will be able to go into each other's containment areas without receiving a correction. To avoid this, the containment areas must not overlap.

This will beep and shock your dog, even when it’s in the perimeter and in the house, you need to be home to monitor it do not leave the collar on the dog when you’re not home.. so many times we heard it beeping and had to run to the doctor to take the collar off. I don’t know what would’ve happened if were not home.

As the dog moved further away from the zone, there didn't seem to be any correction. Unfortunately it is not reliable enough for me.

This was super easy to set up, I have had it for about 2 weeks now and all 3 of my dogs are trained on it already. I ended up getting this because I felt bad taking my dogs out on leashes all the time and not letting them run free and get their energy out; this is perfect for that. I got this brand after looking online and most friends suggested to only use PetSafe because it's the most reliable and so far, that's true. Right now, after them being fully trained, only one of my dogs is on level 4 and the other 2 are on level 3. I have tried the levels up to where my dogs are on myself, and while I can say it is not painful, it is definitely uncomfortable and I can see why it works.

The indicator light on the collar blinks when you press the setting button as described, but when I try to set up the zone the collar light never blinks or emits the sound as I walk away from the transmitter. Have tried numerous times to get it to work and am not sure what I am doing wrong or if the transmitter just isn’t functioning correctly. Was planning on trying again either later today or tomorrow. I bought this same item that my daughter has for her dogs after visiting with her and seeing how nice it works for her.
