PetSafe Wireless Fence Receiver Dog & Cat Collar

This is my dog's third collar. They seem to last about two years before beginning to malfunction. After completing the initial training phase, my dogs have tested the boundary a few times, but quickly learned the boundaries and generally stay within them even when not wearing their collars during brief potty breaks. One of my dogs has a strong prey drive, and will chase deer and other wildlife as well as certain vehicles, and one of my dogs loves to hang out with horses across the road. I will always keep working petsafe collars for them, to keep them safe from injuries that could happen because of traffic or the kick of the mule that lives with the horses, or the bears or coyotes that live in the area. I set the boundary on the transmitter so they have lots of room to run and play all around my house, much larger than any dog lot or fence that I could buy, and now the warning tones are enough to stop them from going into the road or the nearby woods.
