These treats have a sodium content of 1.09% as fed basis. This value is based on the typical (average) analysis of the product, so natural variations can and do occur.

Are they safe for puppies?

Pup-Peroni treats are safe to give to puppies. As a general guideline, we recommend you do not exceed one regular size treat per 10 pounds of body weight per day. We also recommend breaking the treats into bite-sized pieces for small dogs, always monitor your dog while consuming treats and provide your dog enough water throughout the day.

The majority of the ingredients sourced for this product are from the U.S. depending on availability. Some of the minor ingredients, such as vitamins or preservatives, may be sourced from different countries around the globe. These are tested to ensure they meet the U.S. quality and operations standards.

Pup-Peroni will source the vast majority of ingredients from North America. If there is not an ample supply of a certain ingredient or if it doesn’t meet their quality standards, they may source the ingredient from outside North America.

I have Pupperoni bits in a jar on the table next to the couch and my dog will stand there and stare at it forever. He looks at me, looks at the jar, and then barks at me to give him some. This happens every evening. I try to hide the jar but he will sniff it out and demand his reward. When we are out walking in the park I keep some in a bag in my pocket. All I have to do is put my hand in my pocket and the rest of the world ceases to exist for my dog. Other dogs pass by us, kids on bikes fly by, skateboards whiz by and my dog can't keep his eyes off the Pupperoni pocket. I don't know what I would do without the stuff. I am glad that they now offer low-fat Pupperoni for my dog cuz he has pancreatitis flare-ups now and then. I just wish that Pupperoni came already cut into 1/4 inch pieces and in big bags.
