My cat is 15 and needs a complete diet I did not realize not all wet food was the same. I used to get her this in the fish kind, but I recently learned how poor quality the fish tends to be. So I switched over to a different meat. she likes it but it is dry, coming out of the can so I mix it with water to give a more authentic pate, feel for her. She loves it and it hides the medicine perfectly.

She eats this and will finish it. Enough said. Shes not too keen on the other flavors but the chicken sweet potato is a winner.

The first part is my bad - I thought all Beyond were organic and chose sweet potato over carrot for the lower glycemic index. After many orders, I woke up and saw only the carrot mix is organic. Then - and this is not new - can often come dented. I have communicated with Chewy and Fedex. Seems like they come dented out of warehouse. I don’t think dented cans are safe.

Please be careful with this pate. I have been giving it to my cat for a few months now and it was going well. Until yesterday I found a rock in the middle of the pate. (thank goodness I only give her half a can at a time or i would have never have seen it) I figured things like this can happen and immediately let Purina know. they wrote back quickly were incredibly dismissive. Argued it was just "protein that is naturally occurring from the real ingredients" an that it wouldn't hurt my cat. This is not a compressed powder of any kind of protein. It's not even bone. It has no give, and when I scratched at it, it damaged my nail and left no trace on the rock. They also told me this product has been discontinued back in February as if to say "don't worry about it." I honestly was surprised how quickly they tried to dismiss everything. I'm worried the last few batches were rushed through to get them out. probably going to return the new box I got.
