Adult Dog: The recommended feeding amounts indicated are based upon the average nutritional needs of an adult dog with a normal activity level (using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup, which contains approximately 95 g of Purina ONE). Factors, such as a dog's metabolism, breed size, activity level, age and whether the dog is spayed or neutered, will affect the amount of Purina ONE needed to maintain an ideal body condition. The pet experts at Purina have provided the feeding amounts indicated as a starting point. If you find that your dog is losing weight or becomes overweight when fed these amounts, please adjust accordingly. To help your dog maintain an ideal body condition, monitor your dog's weight on a regular basis, making sure that his ribs are easily felt and his waist is visible when viewed from above. Maintaining an ideal body condition can impact your dog's lifelong health.
No Supplements Necessary: Purina ONE provides 100% complete and balanced nutrition for maintenance of adult dogs. There is no need to add vitamins, minerals or other supplements, unless specifically directed by a veterinarian.

Come January my two other dogs also started being picky at meal time. after putting two and two together I realized this food has caused all of my dogs to have allergies, rashes, always licking at feet, and moist ears. My dogs have been on this food for the last year and a half and all the sudden they all decide to stop eating at the same time and now are having issues with allergies? Again not sure if they switched something up with ingredients but we will no longer be getting this food.

I noticed a lot of other reviews regarding the drop in quality for bags ordered around the time we did, so I'm wondering if there were storage issues that resulted in the food going bad sooner than it should have. We are going to try another brand in the meantime.

Our black lab has been eating Purina One for 3 years from puppy to adult food, always the chicken and rice formula. In December we purchased a 40 lb bag instead of a 31.1 lb bag and he flat out was refusing to eat for a full day at a time then started vomiting it up when he ate it. We cant find a recall on this food but clearly there is something wrong with the batches purchased in December of Purina One.
