Feeding Instructions
Recommended daily feeding amounts for adult cats with normal activity using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 96 g of Purina ONE. Adult Cat Feeding Instructions: Fill your cat's bowl with the recommended measured amount every morning and allow your cat to eat on a "free choice" basis throughout the day, rather than as a single feeding at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain an ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Monitor your cat's weight and adjust food amount accordingly. Feed Only ONE: A cat's digestive system works best when it receives the same food each day. Although humans crave variety in their diets, cats do not. Feeding different cat foods can turn your cat into a finicky eater, and may lead to obesity. For questions related to the health of your cat, see your veterinarian. It's Not For All Cats: Purina ONE Salmon & Rice Formula is specifically formulated for adult cats. If you have a kitten, or a pregnant or nursing cat, feed Purina ONE Plus Healthy Kitten. Making the switch to Purina ONE: Although you’ll be anxious to see the difference Purina ONE can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from his current food. The cats love it. the main noticeable difference is that the flakes are uneven and larger than what they were used to, but that doesn't seem to be an issue for the cats or the automatic feeder.

They like the salmon we just discovered no they love the salmon lol No more coarse fur. You can really see it on the black ones, but they all have the same silky fur shiny as can be and their physical shape has changed to more muscular. I’m working on getting them off of the wet food. I don’t like the ingredients. This is great. I wish I could do the pro plan but it’s just not in the wallet.

When we had only three cats, I mixed the chicken and salmon varieties and my cats love it! Rescuing more cats rendered the higher prices of this food unaffordable. We now use a different variety of Purina cat food, which all of cats enjoy; and we also feed, water and shelter another 20 stray and feral cats outdoors. I do highly recommend this variety, along with Purina Cat Chow Complete.

They are alarm trained for meal times but still demand it early. They also always finish it all. With how picky my orange boys are, this is amazing. They both prefer it over wet food now, which is kind of a hydration problem. They beg for food and get disappointed when I give them actual fish in gravy. It's a small miracle and also a pain in the rear, lol.

After discussing a healthier alternative with my vet, we decided on the Purina One brand. I was concerned that they would not like it after having eaten K & K from the start. I was pleasantly surprised when all of the cats found Purina One a worthy upgrade.
