this is the only food my multiple cats dont throw up, except the rice, i dont remember felines hunting and eating rice, dont know why they think rice is a good idea to feed cats, which are true carnivores and would never eat rice, its just a filler, but to get the good stuff, you have to get the rice too i guess

My cat could not eat hard cat dry food for 3 months from teeth issues and when I started him back on hard cat food I use this brand. He had lost 5 lbs from his teeth and cancer surgery. I had him on Purina pro plan complete essentials chicken gravy wet food for 3 months ( I actually had to puree his wet food until he was ready to eat his wet cat food whole) and in the middle of the third month I gave him an option of pro plan complete essentials chicken and rice hard and soft shredded dry cat food mix, he gained weight very quickly and is gradually switching over to the dry cat food. I am grateful to have had this brand of cat food and never want to go through this nightmare again. It was was costly a time-consuming. But this brand new cat food is amazing. Both brands have all the balance nutrition they need and was highly recommended by my veterinarian. I tried using other brands and mixed before extra carbohydrates to get fat and finally switched over to 100% on these products and it made the difference.

Good quality dry food cats like.

Bought this dry food for newly adopted 8yo cat because my cat who I lost in January really liked and it agreed with her IBD. Coupled this with PP chicken with rice

Cats

At first I tried the salmon flavor and my cats seem to throw up, so I tried the chicken and they love it. Plus no vomiting with it

They didn’t throw it up!!!

This seems to be a better food than Iam’s or Nutrish. Both have changed the recipe and my cats just throw it up!

I have 6 cats and all of them used to love this formula (pre-COVID), but after COVID something changed as they did not seem to eat it as much, so I had to switch to a different formula. Five years later - I thought I would try it again, but now they sniff it and literally refuse to eat it. It stays in the bowls untouched (they get wet food for dinner). IDK what changed but 6 cats -none related - who would rather starve than eat this - makes me think the quality of this particular formula has substantially changed.

Cats liked it

Cats liked it but this is our second bag and there were a lot of crumbs. So fair amount of waste. Wish the food was not all broken up.

This food did not do well for my dogs. They were not eager to eat it after the first few weeks. It also made their stool a yellowish color.
