Rex has several dermatological issues that my vet has been trying to figure out and treat. She recommended I switch to Purina Pro Plan as it’s been studied. He is also getting a good Omega 3 and probiotics. And they are small dogs with rather prickly tastes and they love the Purina Pro Plan beef. And we’ve gone through about 1 case with no reactions. I’m very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Purina Pro Plan brand in the past, so I was familiar with the quality. The can food had consistent smooth texture and an enticing aroma that piqued my dogs interest immediately. I like to give my dogs things like lick mats to slow down their ingestion and keep them busy. This formula worked great for that purpose and evidently was very tasty, as it kept them busy for more than 15 minutes (which is a win). I will also be mixing with kibble and freezing in a toy -- to also keep them busy and out of trouble.

Pro Plan is a great product and knowing my dog enjoys it makes it even better. The only thing I might change would to have it in a chunky formula as opposed to a pate but honestly I'm not sure she would care either way.

She's a senior so the softer kibble is easier for her to chew. She devours her meal and is a very content pup!
