Healthy cats can generally eat urinary cat food, but it's not usually recommended as a long-term solution unless there's a specific need. While urinary cat food is formulated to help manage and prevent urinary issues, it may not provide optimal nutrition for a cat without those problems. It's best to consult with a veterinarian to determine the appropriate diet for your cat's individual needs.

Cats are known to have urinary tract issues so making sure I feed them the best food possible is important to me. I mix this with the beef entree wet food (same brand) with enough water to turn it into a type of “stew” my cats all love it! Don’t foresee changing course anytime soon.

7 of 11 cats adjusted well changing from Purina Tender Selects to Purina Pro Plan Adult Urinary Tract Health Formula. Per vet suggestion, I mixed it with their regular food for the first few days and then gradually only gave the Urinary Pro Plan. Seven of eleven seem to like it, but the remaining four will barely nibble at it and now prefer wet food. I had previously tried the regular Purina Urinary Tract dry food, of which none of the eleven would eat. The Pro Plan version is preferred.

I have six cats. I bought this for one who has had blockages. The vet said it was okay if they all ate it, but none of them would.
