These hooves last a long time but over time my dog does eat away at it. One time she threw up a little piece, but it's never caused any issues apart from that. She's a dog! They eat a lot of stuff we humans would never eat. They can digest a lot more than we can. I don't worry about it.

My German Shepherd loves these cow hooves with peanut butter. Mostly, my GSD has no problems with these hooves, but there has been a few times when she gets an upset stomach after chewing on one. She will either have loose stools or throw up some of the chewed up hoof the day after chewing up one of these treats.

Our dog Archie loves these. I’ll admit, they are stinky, but we bear it because he loves them so much. He’s kind of picky and most of his treats he rips right through, but this one he always loves and it gives him probably about 20 minutes or so of enjoyment.
