I really wanted to like the, the cats liked eating it, the ingredient list seemed clean... a few weeks later my cat has serious allergies. Runny nose, crusting black, sneezing, snorting from time to time. Itchy ears and head to the point he scratched himself so bad it created open wounds. Ingredients matter but so does the source. This product was made in Thailand.. so regulations are not the same neither are the farming practices. When I showed my breeder the food he had been eating she bluntly told me it was trash and that I should tick to Canadian or USA produced brands. Sucks because they are more expensive but you pay for it in the end. Felt like I should warn about this as I thought I was doing it right by getting a "clean" "limited ingredient" food.. but unfortunately there's a lot of greenwashing nowadays. Ultimately higher quality ingredients made here will still be better even with a longer ingredient list. I hate seeing my pet go through this so I just wanted to write this in case it prevents any other fur babies from going through this as well. Also, crab is actually not a good ingredient for cats.. sounded good at the time, but many cat don't tolerate this.
