Can I feed this one to 50/50 Yorkie/Poodle?

This line of royal canin breed specific diets are nutritionally formulated to support the breed for which it indicates, for mix breed pets royal canin recommends a diet based on size and age. If your pet is 9-22 pounds the regular dry canine Small Adult formula would be a most suitable option.

My mini Yorkie is about to be 10 months. He has only had Royal Canin brand and almost exclusively dry. He began with a mixture of the Nursing Mother’s type mixed with the Puppy, then exclusively Puppy. Should I mix the adult and puppy types before switching to solely adult?

We do recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

Rags and Maggie are both adopted 3 years apart. Once we started them on the Royal Canin there was a noticeable difference within a month or so. No longer were they what I would say dull and stringy. Their both shiny and full. We groom them on a 6 week schedule. We brush and bathe when needed in between visits also. The more we brush the shiner they are. They both transitioned quickly from "other" brands. Ill just leave it at that. We are now lifers with Royal and Chewy!

I was looking into switching to another kibble for my yorkie. I checked out Hills Science Diet for small breeds. This was still too big for my little guys teeth. I found Royal Canin especially made for Yorkshire Terriers. Prime ingredients and the kibble shape helps to clean his teeth. He loves it!!

My little Beaver which is a Yorkie mix git to she did not want her dry food or her little Caesar wet chicken. So got this. She ate as soon as it was placed in her bowl and with nothing else on it. She kept looking at me while eating and wagging her tail like thank you mom. I'm happy. Thank you chewy.
