Royal Canin Breed Health Nutrition Labrador Retriever Adult Dry Dog Food, 13.6-kg bag

I have a 1.5 year old Lab who was having some stomach issues due to a giardia. She was on the Royal Canin Gastro diet kibble and it worked really well while the parasite was being treated. I slowly transitioned her to the Royal Canin Labrador food and she did really well, so I ordered a second bag. When I opened the second bag - it looked fine, but when I mixed it in with the remains of the previous bag - the colour was different - almost an orangey red vs a brownish red. My dog, who normally eats everything - didn't eat the new food at first - took a few seconds before she ate it all up - so it obviously smelled different to her. By the second day, my dog started to have diarhea, so I switched back to the Gastro diet kibble. Now a week later and I started to re-mix the Labrador food with the gastro diet kibble again and my dog started to have diarrhea again. I suspect that there is something different in this new bag - so it's like a totally different food vs the first bag. I don't know what to do with it now since I ordered the large 13 kg bag and it's almost completely full. I'm going back to the gastro diet and then will transition her to another food slowly again. I can't keep doing this for every new bag - so it's important to find a brand that is consistent.

Chewy is the most reliable service. I can always depend on them and they ship so fast. My fur baby and I love chewy and will always use them!!

It’s helping with his coat and he loves the taste. But then again he’s a lab everything tastes good. But he seems to like it and it’s agreeing with his stomach and his coat. Unfortunately it’s to pricey got it at a discount for the first order, so unfortunately now I’m looking something else.
