Royal Canin Canine Care Nutrition Joint Care Loaf in Sauce Wet Canned Dog Food, 13.5-oz can, case of 12

The first thing that strikes me is a layer of what looks like fat at the top of the can as soon as it is opened. I have never had to mix up wet food before, or ever seen this kind settling. And when attempting to mix it, it doesn’t blend at all. Nor does it melt when microwaved. I’ve tried adding it slowly to their dry food to get them accustomed to the change, but they refuse to taste it. Usually they go crazy for wet food, but even leaving their food out for 2 days, strictly withholding treats, they still would not eat this stuff. They usually eat Royal canine dry mixed with Royal Canine canned food, so I decided to try this one since my girls are getting older at 14 and 8 yo. I wasted my money buying a whole case. If I end up opening another can to try again, I’ll add a pic of the jelly like layer on top.

Easier for my dog to eat and supplements his health.

Our husky-pittie-shepherd mix has started to get a bit picky with his food. It feels like every bag we order has to be a new flavor or he'll go on a hunger strike. We're happy to mix up his food but when he decides midway through the bag that he's over that flavor it gets a bit frustrating. Ever since we ordered the Royal Canin Joint Care Loaf, he's gone NUTS at dinnertime! We can't even get through scooping it out of the can before he starts drooling. Now he eats his dinner entirely and - most importantly - we're not seeing him limp on the leg he broke as a puppy. This is definitely going on auto-ship.
