How much copper?

Answer by ChewyJun 30, 2025
This recipe contains 0.00036% copper on an as fed basis or 0% on a dry matter basis. The amount on a dry matter basis does not mean that the diet does not contain copper at all, but the amount is very low and when calculated on a dry matter basis appears as 0%.

What is the Phosphorus content of this food?

Of the four cases I ordered, 2 had several cans severely damaged. Out of 12 cans per case, one case had 6 damaged cans, the other case had 4 damaged cans. The cans were dented and the pull-tops compromised. 4 of the 10 dented cans were so badly damaged that their lids had actually breached, exposing the contents. Those had to be discarded, along with 2 others that were showing cracks and folds along the lid seams. Discarding 6 out of 24 cans is unacceptable. The food itself is fine -- my dogs like it. It is expensive, but it is the only non-American brand my Vet approves.

My dog Bandit, super mutt, had the worst time with weight control. Being mostly hound she gained weight looking at food. She got to 65 lbs even after trying 8 different foods for “weight loss”. She either was hangry, human food stealer, or looked sick. Having NEVER losing weight. We switched her to this and she lost very slowly and steady. She is now a healthy 48 lb dog with lots of energy and runs again. For reference, she is 10 & 1/2 years old and she eats one can in the morning and one at night. She started off with divided 2&3/4 cans a day total and was slowly tapered to 2 cans per day. Everytime we switched her she would start to gain again. Back in it now for 6 months and her fur is shiny and healthy and she is 5 years younger.

Well constructed.

The feeding station tilts to help my Frenchie to eat. The only downside is the ceramic bowls were to shallow to put enough food or water in. Would have liked it

Our chihuahua is very loved but unfortunately we loved her with food and treats until she was overweight. I selected a few different recommended brands and gave Calamity the choice of her new food. She picked Royal Canin Weight Care over any other brand. She loves the canned loaf with just a little bit of water mixed in and is excited to eat every day. That’s saying something for a chihuahua!
