Feeding Instructions
Feed adult cats 3-4 servings per 5 pounds of body weight daily.
We recommend always using a transition period when introducing any new wet or dry food to your dog or cat. Mix 25% of the new food in with 75% of the current food. Over a 5-10 day period, gradually increase the amount of new food in the mixture until it's the only thing in the bowl. Keep fresh drinking water available at all times.

We have three cats. Two of them are quite easy to please, but the one....yeah, he's a little picky (the orange one in the photo). We originally started using the Sheba perfect portions for our old man who needed dietary restrictions. The calories per portion, flavors available, taste, etc, all fit that need. Now, he needs meds, and he loves the pate in this food, so that's all easy. But we obviously couldn't leave out the two younger cats! Since it's just a treat for them, they share one portion per meal. We quickly learned that one of them will snub any flavor and texture except the cuts in creamy sauce, and he greatly prefers this Salmon flavor to the chicken (but he'll allow me to sub the chicken occasionally, as long as it's the creamy sauce)! Years later, all three are still healthy and happy, and he still says this is the only one worth taking the time to eat. Also, for what it's worth, the packaging for this particular option is perfect for our house. The box is thicker cardboard for standing or stacking, and it's a normal rectangle, which sits well in our pet food cabinet. That may not be important to many people, but I'm a little particular, and the packaging makes my life a little easier.

She immediately devoured the Bistro Salmon in Creamy Sause and always leaves very few remnants on her plate. She can't speak for herself, but her actions tell us she loves this flavor.

My Midnight loves the creamy sauce, and I don't mind that it doesn't have a strong fishy smell. The only thing that I don't care for is that sometimes it is hard
My Midnight loves the creamy sauce, and I don't mind that it doesn't have a strong fishy smell. The only thing that I don't care for is that sometimes it is hard to unsnap the two portions. This results in the contents getting onto my hands or counter. The other Sheba portions do not seem to have this problem---only the ones in the creamy sauce. No matter what, I'll buy it for my kitty because she enjoys it so much.

I had bought a few of these to try with my four picky divas. Three of them loved it. I have one elderly girl who will only eat chicken pate. It smells delicious,
I had bought a few of these to try with my four picky divas. Three of them loved it. I have one elderly girl who will only eat chicken pate. It smells delicious, and the creamy part is just right so they don’t just lick it off and leave the chunks. So I decided to get the case. Naturally now they won’t touch it. I swear they must discuss how to drive me crazy.

Sometimes when trying to separate the two packs the machine hasn’t gone all the way through or something and the cover comes up on both and spills out. It can be very difficult to get the cover started to open the carton and I cut my hand a couple of times. But I love the convenience of 2 containers in case the cats don’t want both, and Sheba is their favorite food.
