Is this collar compatible with the sportdog contain system?

This training dog collar is not compatible with the SportDOG inground fence containment system.

What are the dimensions of the recover module? We are looking for something small but powerful.

The receiver collar for the SD-575E system measures 2.60 inches in Length, 1.30 inches in Width, and 1.23 inches in Diameter.

If i buy two sets of these (remote collar combo) could i pair the collars to both remotes so i have a backup remote that os ready to go.

The transmitter remote is suitable to train one or two dogs at a time.

This states it is waterproof, Can my dog swim in the water 5-6 hours without taking the collar off and it still work without problems?

SportDOG collars are equipped with DryTek® technology making it completely waterproof so they can absolutely leave this receiver collar on their dogs during their swim time. Frequent trips to the pool will not bother them at all. It is recommended to rinse the receiver collar off with fresh water daily once the dog has finished using the pool for the day.

We have owned sport dog collars before and had no issues. We added another dog to the family and decided to upgrade since this was a 2 collar remote. This collar is more of a downgrade. Works when it wants. Remote range is awful. You need to be within 10-15ft for it to work. Contacted sport dog’s customer service and they were of little help. Very disappointed in the brand and quality for the price. We have had for less than 3 months and shopping for a new collar. Ugh

I have an older Sport Dog system and now have 2 dogs. I wanted something simple to use for a 2 dog system and this is perfect. Wanted the orange for Dog 1 and the old collar is Black, easy to differentiate from Dog 1 / Dog 2. Easy instructions to add the black collar. Minor complaint, had to download a full instruction guide, only a quick start was included.
