Is a subscription required?

This tracking system does not need subscription.

Do the batteries charge up on 12 volt or 110 chargers?

The charger for this system requires a standard 120-240 volt outlet.

Can you create geofences for areas for your dog to stay within?

The TEK 1.5 does not feature the Geofencing capability. For that, we would recommend "SportDOG TEK Series 2.0 GPS Dog Collar." Keep in mind, the Geofence feature is not a containment system. The Geofence can create boundaries in case a dog goes into an unwanted area while on a hunt, but the collar does not activate automatically. In this situation, the receiver collar simply notifies the handheld that a dog has gone into an unwanted area.

This version of the TEK 1.5 only works in the US and Canada.
