It took a while to troubleshoot, but this jerky is definitely the cause of my otherwise healthy middle-aged dog's digestive distress. As others have commented, the jerky is now incredibly hard. I broke it up into small pieces for feeding, but those pieces passed INTACT through my dog's digestive system, causing mucus and loose stools. I imagine it is like gravel moving through the dog's system. We ruled out any other cause and even had a fecal test run. Luckily Chewy refunded the purchase price.
