Is this product cooked before it’s freeze dried?

This recipe is raw freeze-dried food. The freeze-drying process removes moisture from the raw ingredients using cold temperatures and vacuum pressure, essentially preserving the raw state of the food without applying heat.

Stella and chewys dinner dust products are not meant to be used as a full diet, but instead as a minimal part of the overall daily intake, they do not measure the individual micronutrient levels in them (this includes Phosphorus).

How many mg of Phosphorus in 100 kcal?

Stella & Chewy's freeze-dried products should be stored in the original packaging and resealed with the screw top between uses. It should also be stored at room temperature – refrigeration and freezing is not recommended to ensure that the product isn’t exposed to moisture.

I was very excited to use this for my cat, hoping it would be a yummy seasoning for his food, but nope. I poured some on his dry food, he went to eat it and kept purposely dropping the food out of his mouth(because he didn’t like the taste of the topper). He kept doing this till he gave up trying to find food with without the topper. Had to dispose of the food and change it to his regular kibble. It seems like it would be good for anyone else’s cat.

I got this topper and put a couple sprinkles on his food. He now eats his wet and his dry food. It’s been two years now I’ve been using this.
