All of Stella & Chewy's products are packaged by weight, not by patty count - this means that the number of patties per bag can vary somewhat.

Do you have to refrigerate?

Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried foods are incredibly convenient because of their shelf stability and don’t require refrigeration. As long the top of the bag is sealed using the zip closure, it will be fine in a cupboard or pantry. When stored according to the directions, the product is safe until the expiration date, but freshest within the first few weeks of opening. Refrigeration is an option if you choose to extend the freshness.

Is your raw dog food irradiated?

This food is not irradiated. All of Stella & Chewy's frozen and freeze-dried raw products go through HPP (high pressure processing) to naturally destroy harmful bacteria while assuring the food’s nutritional value is not affected.

My pup likes all the other just plain beef dinner patties by Chewy and Stella, but will not touch this one. I have tried multiple times to see if he'd try this brand, it it's always a flop of him just turning his nose up to it and saying no thx not a liked flavor. My pup isn't a fan of the surf and turf variation. Not a seafood or fish lover. He's a normal pup that prefers chicken, turkey, beef, etc doesn't like flavors or meat such as fish mixed with anything. He legit won't touch his bowl or will ignore it if I try offering him anything fish, such as salmon, etc.

I am trying to find at least 2 foods that my picky mini poodle can eat because he is refusing to eat his kibble on a daily basis. The first day I introduced these patties, he showed a high interest, but day two, not so much. One of the issues with the patties is the amount dogs have to eat per day. My puppy is struggling with even a low volume and is regurgitating the food. I have been adding water to assist with the digestion. I wouldn’t say it’s the ingredients (added fruit and vegetables) because he can tolerate Smack, which also has added fruit and vegetables. I truly believe it’s the amount a dog his size has to eat, even for just one meal. So right now, I’m dealing with a puppy that goes between hunger puking because he refuses to eat his kibble daily, to vomiting because of how much food he needs to eat per meal with these patties. I wish there would be more dehydrated options, which seem to have more calories in a small amount of food. I respect the brand, but these patties just aren’t for dogs with sensitive stomachs.

Puppy training treats

I love this brand! The freeze dried is perfect for training. I can feed an entire meal during a training session and keep their attention.

For some reasons my Pomeranian doesn't like Salmon flavor. So he refuses to eat them. If it's only beef, he might have eat them.
