At this time, the manufacturer does not test for caloric content of Laxatone. There is an estimated amount of 25 calories per 6 gram dose.

The Tomlyn Laxatone Hairball Remedy Maple Flavor Gel comes out of the tube like molasses. It is more runny than thick and has a smooth texture.

My cat is not food motivated at all. She is a healthy weight while my other two are a lil chonky. She did not like this paste. You’re supposed to give 1/2-1 teaspoon for the first couple days and there is no way I can get her to eat it. It’s made with molasses and is sweet and sticky. I’m not sure if it works, but if you have picky eaters your cats might not love it.
