When I bought this product I was under the belief that it was a chicken free formula. My cat is allergic to chicken and poultry bi-products so I have to be very diligent in looking at ingredients list. The ingredient description under this tab said nothing about chicken, and it was salmon flavored, so I bought it. I got it in, gave my cat a treat and was surprised he ate it quickly as usually he finds l-lysine too bitter and distasteful. I looks at the back of the bag and the first ingredient is chicken meal... UGH! I went back to this listing to make sure i wasn't crazy and sure enough the ingredients list in the description still says nothing about chicken, although there is a photo in the slides of the back or the actual bag which lists the chicken ingredients. So don't be like me and by this by mistake if your cat has allergies! And please change the ingredient list to include the ACTUAL ingredients please!

These are so bad. Probably the cat version of cherry-flavored penicillin. First, they are so stinky when you open the bag, like rotting fish, and second, they are rock hard. I tried grinding them up, disguising them. My cat always knew I was trying to trick her into eating them. I ended up throwing them out.

Not worth it

These are not good. My cat wanted nothing to do with it. I tried everything from breaking it up to hiding it in his food.

My rescues have feline herpes. I've tried several brands of Lysine Chews and this one they refused whole, crumbled, dipped in Fancy Feast. They won't eat it.
