Feeding Instructions
Rehydrate freeze dried ingredients before feeding to dogs. Shake bag to mix. Place dried mixture into a bowl and add boiling water in equal amounts. Stir, cover and let stand for 15-20 minutes until completely cool before serving. Dried mixture will double in volume with rehydration. The guideline below should NOT be used in place of your veterinarian's recommendation. Water can be increased or decreased based on your preference.
Small Dogs (<25 lbs): 1/2 cup dried + 1/2 cup boiling water, twice daily (4 servings/bag).
Medium Dogs (25-50 lbs): 3/4 cup dried + 3/4 cup boiling water, twice daily (3 servings/bag).
Large Dogs (>50 lbs): 1 cup dried + 1 cup boiling water, twice daily (2 servings/bag).
Continue to feed to your dog for 2-3 days, or as long as your veterinarian recommends. Then gradually wean your dog back to its regular diet.

The packet inside this should be removed for safety reasons
The packet in this food is dangerous and can lead to waste. If you don’t notice the packet and pour the water on the dehydrated food you have wasted the whole packet
The packet in this food is dangerous and can lead to waste. If you don’t notice the packet and pour the water on the dehydrated food you have wasted the whole packet. Also someone could mistake the packet for a flavor packet and poison their pet. And they are pricey if You accidentally ruin a packet.
Okay if your dog needs hydrating
Vet recommended this for our sick dog but she refused it. I didn’t realize that it stays really soupy and the rice does’t absorb it all. I ended up making her regular
Vet recommended this for our sick dog but she refused it. I didn’t realize that it stays really soupy and the rice does’t absorb it all. I ended up making her regular rice with a little hamburger without all the liquid. She was drinking okay so didn’t need the hydration. Maybe another patient would.
Picky Dog Loves It!
I have two senior doggos, one of which has gotten more and more picky with age. He also has a sensitive stomach, and sensitivities to chicken and turkey. *whew*
I have two senior doggos, one of which has gotten more and more picky with age. He also has a sensitive stomach, and sensitivities to chicken and turkey. *whew* I've tried kibble, canned, raw, expensive, cheap... He'll sort of like something for a while, then he's done with it. I found Under the Weather beef formulas at a store nearby and originally tried it as just a topping to see if my guys liked it and make sure there were no digestive issues. My picky guy LOVES it! My other guy would and does eat anything. So, for the time being he's eating this as his main meal with me trying to add in a little kibble or canned food, semi-successfully. I'm going to talk to our vet to see if it's OK for him to continue eating this on the regular. I alternate this with the sweet potato formula.
