This bowl is made out of stainless steal and is not compatible with the microwave.

Do the bowls ship as a set or do you only get one bowl?

This is sold as a single bowl, not a set.

Where is there a picture of the non skid bottom? That is suppose to be a selling point, right?

The first picture depicts the bowl with the Non-Skid bottom. If you zoom in on the photo you'll see a black band on the bottom.

I should have checked the size more diligently. These are well made so deserve five stars. However since they are small for adult cats they are going to friends

This water bowl is the right design for 3 giant dogs, is wide enough to keep the mess on the floor to a minimum, yet deep enough to hold a lot of water. It's got non skid base and is stainless steel, and has not rusted yet. The problem is that the one I got started to go out of round about 2 months after puchase, developing a crack in the metal. About a month ago it warped severely and developed a crack on the opposite side. Both cracks are now 1/2" deep, it's football shaped and no longer sits flat on the floor. The cracks pose a risk to the dogs, so this has to go. Very disappointed, hoping I can find a higher quality replacement by a different maker.
