This shampoo does not expire. It is however less effective after three years from the manufacturing date stamped on the bottle.

Do I need to purchase a conditioner? I have a golden retriever but didn’t see this brand having a conditioner?

We have been using this fabulous shampoo for quite a few years now, and it's a great shampoo. No scratching/itching, which tells me it is doing it's job. It also has a lovely (very mild) fragrance, which we love. Our doggie loves it too! He has allergies from time to time, so we need to stick with hypo-allergenic shampoo to be sure he doesn't have an issue.
