I am a home groomer for one 35 lb doodle who is a mix of labradoodle and Bernedoodle with a soft to medium coat. I have used this for a year now and have replaced the blades once. In the summer I cut her hair about once every 4 weeks in the winter (her first and mine too as a groomer) about 6 weeks. This cordless trimmer works well if: Her hair is completely dry The hair is brushed The trimmer is set to the proper setting for the guides The guides are pushed all the way on I have found this to be a can’t live without it tool. The trimmer works reliably, is easy to clean, charges quickly, and holds a charge well. For this size dog and coat type, I highly recommend. Also probably will get metal guards going forward as a couple of the plastic teeth on the included guards have broken. Worth every penny. Very bonding and fun to learn! Do watch grooming vids and also get chunkers for the head.

I’m certified dog groomer I’ve always purchased wahl clippers because they normally are affordable and reliable 6months into owning these clippers I had issues with the battery I would fully charge these clippers and the next day the battery would be dead again even when they had not been used I sent the back to wahl hoping they repair them and not have this issue again

Bought this clipper to replace my previous Wahl Chromado Cordless pet clipper. It vibrates to bad when it's running. My previous one didn't do that. I actually bought through another site because it was cheaper. Maybe that's why it was cheaper? Either way it is still the same clipper and that's why I'm doing a review (for the sake of the company that makes these). Very disappointed with this clipper.
