Beware the gel handle
Not suitable for puppies - my puppy doesn’t like being brushed and tries to bite the brush. I guess he punctured the gel handle and the gel is leaking out. Very

Wahl medium slicker brush
Our labradoodle was not a fan of this brush. It was just wire and no little nubs on the tips for comfort

My dogs shy away from this brush.
I don't recommend this brush for GSD or Belgian Malinois. I have used a slicker before with no problems with any of our dogs, past and present. It was loosing pins,
I don't recommend this brush for GSD or Belgian Malinois. I have used a slicker before with no problems with any of our dogs, past and present. It was loosing pins, so I knew it was time for a new slicker brush. When this Wahl brush arrived, I tried it out on both of our dogs. It seemed to "get caught" in their hair and stop in the middle of a brush stroke. After only one short use on each dog, they shied away from this brush when I brought it out during our next grooming session, and actually left the session. That has NEVER happened before. They usually love grooming sessions and even toenail clipping. Thank you Chewy for reimbursing me for this brush that my dogs clearly dislike.

Amazing Results
So I have a long hair Siamese cat who has gotten big after being fixed. I guess he can no longer reach his back so it became extremely matted. I would brush him
So I have a long hair Siamese cat who has gotten big after being fixed. I guess he can no longer reach his back so it became extremely matted. I would brush him with another brush which did not help and it got worse. I began to cut it but he did not like that! Well I was prepared to cut him bald and let his hair regrow but I didn’t have to. This brush removed all of the matted hair. It was a miracle! Vets should recommend this brush instead of having people pay $500 to shave their pets! If your animal has a problem with Matt I highly recommend using this brush! It works Miracles! Completely removes matted hair the vet recommend shaving or cutting off!!!
