Cats over 15 lbs: Add up to 1/4 cup for each additional 2 lbs of body weight.
The best way to transition your cat onto a new food is to gradually introduce the new food by mixing it with the old grub. Mixing the two and increasing the new food gradually will allow your kitty's taste and tummy to acclimate to the new recipe.

Awesome! (except a few ingredients)
First I just want to say that I am NOT a vet and I am NOT a cat nutritionist. This being said, this particular dry food is the healthiest I have been able to find
First I just want to say that I am NOT a vet and I am NOT a cat nutritionist. This being said, this particular dry food is the healthiest I have been able to find for my needs. Even though I have 3 cats this is still the healthiest for all of them. I am a little worried about the phosphorus level though. The % listed in the guaranteed analysis is a minimum value. If it is close to this then the P value is very good if you want to take care of your kitties' kidneys. Also, the carb. % is a little high for my liking. It's ok for my one kitty who is getting to be on the skinny side and I can control my little female's portion. However, kitty #3 tends to pack on the weight and he was pretty much obese when I got him. The fat % is pretty low but it still meets the AAFCO requirements. However, for me, these things are a minor concern compared to other ingredients that could be in this food. There are no gums (although not common in dry food), no legumes, no corn, wheat or soy, no potatoes and no extra salt. Lastly I'm not keen on 'natural flavors' but hey...you can't win them all. Now, I just hope that my fur babies like it!

Sensitive stomach
My cat has some stomach issues and after I switched her to this brand she stopped getting sick. It is more expensive but I’m happy she can eat without getting sick
