Their coats are better
I slowly transitioned the cats over from the Purina food that they had been eating for several years. They did not like the switch. They would pick out the food
I slowly transitioned the cats over from the Purina food that they had been eating for several years. They did not like the switch. They would pick out the food that they were accustomed to and leave the Wellness. I persisted and eventually cut way back on how much of the original food that they were getting. It took over a month. Now they eat Wellness exclusively. Their coats have gotten much softer and have more of a shine. Digestive issues are much better. They do not eat as much of this food. I believe that is because it does not have as much filler ingredients as the other brands have in them. GMO corn was the second ingredient listed on the old brand’s ingredient list. Cats and dogs do not eat corn. It is a vegetable that their bodies are not made to assimilate along with most of the other ingredients and synthetic vitamins. I would love to be able to make food for them but just do not have that kind of time or the equipment needed.
I will have to discard this bag of cat food.

He has been taking “pet honesty” for this problem and has not had any hair balls until I gave him this food. Btw I changed to this food from one that was a prescription for urinary problem . He had taken this food for a couple of years without any problems. It seems that Chewy would not renew the script so I just tried to change to something else. Caesar is 18 years old and has not been great since this episode. I ordered some dry food that he ate a few years ago . Will see how he does on that.
