What are the sources for the Glucosamine and chondroitin?

The Wellness ingredients are primarily sourced from North America. Wellness Pet Company has one of the most strict sourcing criteria of any pet food manufacturer. All ingredient suppliers, whether domestic or international, need to meet certified nutrient levels and be manufactured in quality audited facilities. While there are many high quality ingredients available in the U.S., in some cases there is not a readily available U.S. supply. For example, the Venison, Lamb, Rabbit and Salmon Meal are sourced internationally from New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Chile respectively. They feel that they have the appropriate quality programs in place at all their vendor locations and feel safe and secure with all the ingredients they source, whether they are sourced locally or globally.

We had to take her to the vet as she was having severe digestive issues. We have taken her off of the food for 2 days now and she still having a few issues and we ordered her her regular food back again. Right now we are giving chicken and rice and we will slowly break her back into her old food

Our dog Thunder has been eating Wellness Senior for several years and is now almost 16 years old and still very healthy. We do a lot of things to help keep him healthy including a large mixing-bowl-sized water bowl rinsed at least twice a day, walks at least 3 times a day, blue buffalo health bars for years as his main treats, given frequently, and 2 cups a day of Wellness Senior food. We have also recently started giving him a supplement called Pupflex+ and it is noticeably helping with mood and pain levels with his arthritis. We love our dog so much and I'm so glad we chose Wellness all those years ago because I'm sure it's contributing to his health and longevity.
