My not-very-picky, adult indoor cats did not like this food! Not saying there’s anything wrong with it, but mine (usually will eat most any indoor formula) did NOT enjoy it and would take a few bites then leave it. I ended up mixing some wet with it so they’d finish the bag, but I won’t get this again.

I bought two bags of this food. Let me start by saying that for some reason it smelled off, like playdough or something. But all 5 of my cats disliked this food. I gave my leftover bag and unopened bag to my mother (assuming my cats were just picky) and none of her 4 cats would eat it either (not even her outside cat) I'm not sure if it went rancid or is just crappy cat food. It was expensive, so I'm not impressed. My mom is throwing it away too.

We love Chewy, but our poor kitties. The food bag of our typical wellness core dry food was recently rebranded and looks almost identical to this one, which apparently I mistakenly purchased at the end of July. I had just returned from vacation with my husband and kids and my mistake for not paying more attention as I quickly poured the new food into our automatic cat feeder and surplus bin. My older cat over the course of the next two weeks began looking much skinnier than normal and eating everything in sight! Our other kitty who always eats her dry food was not touching the kibble either, very unlike her! We do offer them wet food daily as well so it took me a while to notice they had begun only eating the wet food daily. After seeing the dry food portions building up on the feeder tray, I decided to investigate by opening the feeder and container which held the extra food they didn’t fit in the feeder when I originally filled it a few weeks ago, and oh my, it smelled so toxic I couldn’t believe it! No way could any animal have consumed this, it smelled like an awful plastic or chemical smell. I am so frustrated having to throw away an expensive bag of food not something was definitely off with this batch and my poor kitties suffered for it! Chewy is typically very reliable source of pet needs for us but this was so disappointing! I wish I had read reviews earlier because it sounds like at least two other people had this same issue!

The harsh chemicals smell that came out of this bag when I opened it up could knock you off your feet. And I don't mean it smells like kibble. I mean it smells like this should not be eaten. The different bag caught me off guard since I know if a company's rebrands the image, usually something bad has happened. I'm very disappointed. My cats have been eating this for about 3 years now. And I've got to find something else for them. The kibble also changed shape and texture. It's covered in like... dust? Like how a dorrito is dusted. And the shape is more like a cube than a disc like it used to be. My cats have been throwing up a lot too. Wer done with this brand
