The amount of protein specifically for peas is proprietary to the manufacturer. The amount of protein that comes from animals is 40%, the rest would come from the other ingredients.

Is this food able to be substituted with another Wellness CORE grain-free food? (Basically, can I change the flavor without any digestive repercussions?)

Wellness is not intended to be a rotational diet so transitioning is always recommended when switching formulas. It is important to slowly transition your puppy from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness by day 7.

We got a bag of whitefish and something was definitely wrong with it. We changed to this and it's a hit! We'll be getting this from now on. If there are other options

Picky eater eats this

My little picky eater likes this food. I still have to offer my big dog’s food to him periodically to keep him interested.
